Pics
The above pics show the saloon in its original plan and the top one shows the Boatmans stove and drop down table.
In my plans Im going to try and keep the artwork from the table but no idea yet how its going to work out.
Ive now got 5 days off and work will begin on stripping the backcabin ready for the rebuild.....it all goes downhill from here

interesting - boatman's cabins are an incredible piece of design when that's the only cabin space you have, but never made much sense to me on a modern boat where the rest of the boat is cabin too.
Shoudl be easy enough to keep the drop down table - perfect for nappy changing. If you don't want to keep the boatman's stove, just sling it on Tortoise's front deck for me? ;-)
Oh Geoff, I love the table and what I can see of the stove too...wish I was closer so I could persuade you to let me have them ;-) I am as ever amazed at how narrow NB's really are. Good luck with the stripping down! Keep us posted with pics along the way, won't you?
Hey upfolks, The stove will be going as will the table and not too sure yet what we were going to do with them.
Simon, If you can find a use for the stove then give us a knock when your next around. I wont leave it on the deck just in case our weather remains wet.
Val, If your really interested, Im sure we can find a way to get the table to you
when I saw you yesterday I hadn't seen this comment!
how much would you want for it?
